What do plants need to grow?



• Air

• Water – not too much!!

• Light

• Food – minerals, fertilizer

• A safe place to grow

What Are the Parts of a Plant?



• 1. Leaves

• 2. Flower

• 3. Fruit

• 4. Stem

• 5. Seed

• 6. Roots

Types of Plants



• Edible • Non-edible
