Exams & Grades
There will be two exams in lecture. These exams will make up 60% of your final grade.
Attendance counts 20% and pop quizzes will count the remaining 20%. The midterm exam in
lecture will be March 26. It will cover chapters 5 through 10. It will be problem oriented with
some multiple-choice questions.
I will take 5 random attendances; each will count 4 points towards your final grade.
There will be no make-up for the midterm for any reason, valid or not.
The final exam will be during final exam week. This is a College requirement and the
Registrar sets the date and time. The exam will be on May 21 at 9AM
The exam will cover chapters 5 through 15 and 19. It will be the same format as the midterm
exam. It will count twice as much as the midterm in calculating your final grade.
