Steps in booking a Virtual Fieldtrip Checklist
Online Request of Virtual Fieldtrip
o Select program and content provider you wish to book on CILC.org.
o Scroll to bottom of program flyer and click on “Request this Program Now”
also found at the top of the flyer.
o Fill in the information required marked by red flags. The requesting
organization is Pulaski County Special School District. Please make sure you
book your fieldtrip at least 3 weeks out so there is time to acquire approval.
o Press “Next Step” at bottom of page.
o At the bottom of the new page click “Forward Pin Request”.
o The request will go to Susan Fletcher. Please email her at
sfletcher@pcssd.org and let her know you submitted a request and the title
of the fieldtrip, your school, and the date scheduled.
Documentation to be submitted to administration
o Go to inst.pcssd.org, click on departments, click on instructional
technology, on far left click on virtual fieldtrips, and then go to user
documents.
o Place fieldtrip on calendar at http://inst.pcssd.org. You must sign into
Sharepoint in order to post. Username: virtual Password: teacher.
o Click on “Project Application Form” then edit. Fill in information and SAVE
AS a word document. Attach document in an email to sfletcher@pcssd.org.
o Fill out Fieldtrip triplicate form from the district and turn in to your
principal, you might want to attach a program flyer or your “Project
Application Form”.
o When Ms. Fletcher approves your fieldtrip, the content provider will send
you a confirmation.
