Ed Leatham is the founder of SCVC. He has been practising cardiology
in Guildford since 1998 and is a consultant at The Royal Surrey County
Hospital where he established a number of cardiac services including
a Rapid Access Chest Pain Clinic, Cardiac Angiography and Pacing,
Transoesophageal echo and Stress Cardiac CT (with Lifescan). He is co-founder of
the local charity, Heart and Stroke Endeavour (HASTE) and one of the three Guildford
Cardiologists responsible for the NHS Guildford Coronary Care Unit. He is an Honorary
Consultant at The Royal Brompton Hospital in London and has practising privileges at
Haslemere, The Guildford Nuffield Hospital, The Royal Surrey County Hospital and the at

Peter Clarkson joined SCVC as a partner in July 2008. He is lead
Cardiologist at Frimley Park Hospital with 8 years consultant experience
in cardiology and general internal medicine. He has established services
including the Rapid Access Chest Pain Clinic, Diagnostic Angiography,
Transoesophageal Echocardiography and, more recently, Coronary Intervention including
Angioplasty and Stenting. His areas of expertise include Permanent Pacemaker Implantation
including Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy and ICD Implantation. He holds an honorary A FREE educational seminar
contract at St George’s Hospital, Tooting and has practising privileges at the Parkside Suite, Starting at 9.00 am with lunch from 12.30 – 1.30 pm
