The Hagerman-Thompson
Staff Excellence Award
Since fall semester of 2004, Brenau University has been honoring a staff member who meets a high
standard of performance with the Hagerman-Thompson Staff Excellence Award. All university staff
and faculty and are encouraged to nominate a staff member who meets the following criteria:
1. Completed at least 5 years of continuous service.
2. Employed on at least a ¾ time basis.
3. Contributes to the growth and excellence of Brenau University beyond the call of duty.
4. Is well respected.
5. Presents a positive image both on and off campus.
6. Is efficient and effective.
7. Works well as a team member.
8. Demonstrates commitment and dedication to the institution.
9. Has unquestionable integrity.
10. Has not received the award previously and is not a member of the faculty or President’s
Cabinet.
All Brenau University faculty and staff are eligible to submit ONE nomination form for a staff member
who meets the criteria. The following staff members are eligible this year to be nominated for the
award:
