Statement of interest: Please submit a personal statement describing your experience in
painting or architecture and what you hope to gain from the summer program at Tuscan
Classical Academy.
Deposit: $500 should be submitted with this application (see Payment below), along with
examples of your work, and sent (by airmail) to:

Fees:
July 24-Aug. 14, 2007, Full Three-week Program - $4,200.
July 24-Aug. 5, 2007, Professional Intensive I - $2,400.
August 5-14, 2007, Professional Intensive II - $1,900.
Full payment of the fee minus the deposit is required by June 1st.
For legitimate reasons, all payments, minus a cancellation fee of $150, are refundable up to
four weeks before the start of TCA.
Included: tuition, room (double or triple w/ private bath; single is an additional $600), food
and wine, laundry, excursions & museums, use of studios, pool and tennis court, transfer
from/to Florence train station or airport on opening and closing days (please send travel
details when available), and basic studio art supplies.
Not included: Travel to and from Florence, accident & health insurance, paints and brushes.
(TCA students get a discount at the outstanding art supply store Zecchi in Florence.)
Financial Aid
Based on need, experience, and talent, a limited amount of financial aid (up to 50%) is
available upon request for architectural students and interns. Please submit your request to
Mrs. Aeschliman with a statement of interest and need, along with examples of your work and
a supporting reference.
Insurance & Passport
By June 15, please send proof of accident and health insurance while traveling in Europe and
a copy of your passport pages with vital information.
