DETAILS:

Venue: Venice United Methodist Church, 1020 Victoria Avenue, Venice CA

90291, one block north of Venice Blvd, on the east side of Lincoln

Blvd.



Time: 12PM to 1PM – pre workshop gathering for lunch with V-Day staff to

meet and settle in. This will also be an opportunity to have any of your

logistical producing questions answered by staff as well as other

organizers that will have their experiences to offer.



1PM to 5PM – Workshop with Eve.



5PM to 6PM – We will be showing a screening of “What I Want My

Words To Do To You” to introduce everyone to this new event piece.



Food: Lunch will be available from 12PM to 1PM as everyone arrives and

meets one another.



Dress: The atmosphere is relaxed - wear casual, comfortable clothes.

the workshop. You are certainly welcome to find your own accommodations if you

This venue is located in the Santa Monica/Venice area with fabulous sites including

the famous Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier and 3rd St. Promenade.

Airports: While LAX is the most conveniently located airport to the event

Taxi: Do not hail a cab on the street. You must call one of the companies

listed below. Rates are $2/mile + $2 per fare charge (LAX surcharge

$2.50) Be aware that fares add up quickly because of the distances

between sites BUT the “One Fare Zone” (within the perimeters of

Harbor Freeway/I-110 to the West, Main St. to the East, Pico Blvd. to

the South and Hollywood Freeway/US 101 to the North) is $4 for up to

Please note: If you plan to use a car service from an airport, call ahead to verify
