Learning The website is to increase general knowledge about biomes. The
Strategies learning levels that it addresses are knowledge, comprehension,
and analysis as the students are comparing information about the
different biomes.
The multiple intelligences addressed are linguistic, spatial, and
naturalistic.
This website does not require much from students beyond reading
and looking.
It requires passive learning.
The website is only moderately challenging. It is not very
interactive.
Navigation The site is well organized and easy to navigate.
There are no advertisements.
There are no pop ups.
I did not see links to other sites.
The site does have a searchable index.
Software plug-ins are not necessary
The website is quick and efficient to get around.
There is a lot of information on this site so they could spend a lot
of time here. However, it is not very interactive so they will
probably not want to spend more than 20 minutes. If they are
very interested in the information they can return there at a later
time.
Graphics The graphics are appropriate.
The graphics add to the information.
The graphics do not seem to delay the loading of the site.
Appeal It looks good and it appealing.
There is a good balance of graphics and information. However
there could be some more graphics.
Availability The website is readily available.
