The 1828 Noah Webster Dictionary defines:
Reprove: To blame, to convince of a fault, or to make it manifest, to excite a
sense of guilt.
Circumspectly: Cautiously; with watchfulness every way; with attention to guard
against surprise or danger.
Matthew 24:24: "...if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."
II Corinthians 2:11: "Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not
ignorant of his devices."
II Chronicles 7:14: "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble
themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then
will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
The True Shocking Meaning of the Word Christ-Mass
They tell us that it is the season to be jolly. It is a time of ornaments, red and green
decorations, silver bells, holly, mistletoe and colored lights. It is also a time of
department store Santas calling out their universal mantra, "Ho ho ho, Merry X-Mas."
Nearly all of the realm of so-called "Christianity" join in and repeat this same greeting,
"Merry X-mas!"
Although we hear these words constantly as they resonate millions of times throughout
the land, almost nobody understands what they are really saying. It is the purpose of
this tract to take the words, "Merry X-mas" and examine the true meaning and essence
of those words.
A true Christian would want to examine everything they say, because Jesus said in
Matthew 12:36-37, "But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they
shall give account thereof in the day of judgement. For by thy words thou shalt be
justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." We will now set aside all of the
customs, glitter and traditions of Christmas, which were taken from pagan
witchcraft and popularized by the Roman Catholic Church, and we will focus on
the true meaning of the words, "Merry Christmas!"
The word "Merry" is simple to define. It unquestionably means to be happy, joyful and
light-hearted. The word "merry" fits into the ambience of laughter and frivolity. This
word "merry" by itself is innocent and innocuous enough, but as we will now see, it
becomes heinously blasphemous when used with the word "Christmas."
Here let it be noted that most people think that the word, "Christmas" means "the birth of
Christ." But by definition, it means the "death of Christ", and I will prove it by
using the World Book Encyclopedia, the Catholic Encyclopedia, and a book
entitled, The Mass In Slow Motion.
If you are an honest, sincere and discerning Christian, please read on; if not, you might
as well stop right here. The World Book Encyclopedia defines "Christmas" as
follows: "The word Christmas comes from "Cristes Maesse", an early English
phrase that means "Mass of Christ." (1) It is interesting to note that the word
"Mass", as used by the Roman Catholics, has traditionally been rejected by the
so-called Protestants, such as Lutherans, Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians,
Pentecostals and so on. The word "Mass" is strictly a Catholic word and thus, so
is "Christ-Mass."
It would stand to reason, that since all of these denominations love and embrace
"Christ-Mass", that December 25th is the great homecoming day, when all of the
Protestants become Catholic for a day. It would seem that all of the so-called
"wayward daughters" of the Romish church return to their mother, the scarlet
harlot. Thus, all of the so-called Protestant churches could sing to the Pope that
popular song "I'll be home for Christmas."
As previously stated, the word "Mass" in religious usage means a "death
sacrifice." The impact of this fact is horrifying and shocking; for when the
millions of people are saying, "Merry Christmas", they are literally saying "Merry
death of Christ!" Furthermore, when the fat man in the red suit laughs
boisterously and says, "Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas", he is mocking and laughing
at the suffering and bleeding Saviour, who died for our sins. He does this while
parents place their little children into his waiting arms to hear his false promises
of gifts that he says he will give them. Consider what you are saying when you
say "Merry Christmas."
What is so amusing about our Saviour's painful death? What is so funny? Why is
Santa laughing? Why are you going along with it? Your words do count and Satan
knows it. Yes, the word "Mass" does mean "death sacrifice", and to cement that fact,
we will consider the definition of the inventors of the religious application of the word
"Mass." I am looking at page 537 of the Catholic Encyclopedia, which says, "In the
Christian law, the supreme sacrifice is that of the Mass." It goes on to say, "The
supreme act of worship consists essentially in an offering of a worthy victim to
God, the offering made by a proper person, as a priest, the destruction of the
victim." (2) Please note carefully the word, "victim" of the Mass. The Latin word for
victim is "Hostia" from which the word "host" is derived. The Mass, by definition of
those who coined the word, is a sacrifice involving a victim. There is no other
meaning for the word "Mass" or "Christ-Mass." On page 110 of a book entitled "The
Mass In Slow Motion", we find the following words: "It is only with the consecration that
the sacrifice of the Mass is achieved. I have represented the Mass to you, more than
once, as a kind of ritual dance." (3)
In essence, the Mass is the ceremonial slaying of Jesus Christ over and over
again, followed by the eating of his flesh and the drinking of his blood. The Mass
is the death sacrifice, and the "Host" is the victim. This is official Roman Catholic
doctrine, and "Christmas" is a word that they invented. Again, I ask, what is so
merry about the pain, bleeding, suffering and death of Jesus Christ? Satan has
done quite a job of getting millions of so-called "Christians" to blaspheme.
What a deceiver he is.
Now you know the true meaning of the word "Christmas" or Mass of Christ.
There is much more to know about this pagan holiday, and we will be glad to provide
you with plenty of evidence that Jesus was not born on December 25th, and that
Christmas is not only a lie, but is actually a witches' sabbat called "Yule" in clever

One of the main goals we have at Understand The Times is to analyze the news in light
of insights found in the Word of God. With regard to Bible prophecy, we should be very
aware that doctrines of demons are taking place as part of the great falling away.[1]
Even those who have been known for teaching the Word of God can will be misled as
they get caught up in this Last Days apostasy.
Recently an article caught my attention with regard to Rome‟s New
Evangelization program. This program, put into place by Pope John Paul II, is still
being promoted by Pope Benedict XVI in order to bring people to the Roman
Catholic Eucharistic Jesus through a variety of plans.
The title of the article I read was “The Blessed Mother – The Vatican‟s Secret
Weapon?” [2]Notice that the title asks a question, which the article proceeds to answer
showing how two Roman Catholic leaders, one from the USA and the other from
Europe, have been both brought on board by Pope Benedict to provide leadership for
Rome‟s worldwide New Evangelization program
These two men from different parts of the world had something in common, which I
found to be very interesting. As the article states:
Two esteemed men, one a United States Catholic Bishop from Green Bay, WI., the
other a Cardinal based in Europe, serving as the Archbishop of Vienna, suddenly
seem to have very much in common.
Both men, charged with revitalizing the Catholic faith, have
courageously taken action that acknowledges the supernatural
presence of Our Lady.[3]
The phrase supernatural presence of Our Lady is important when studying about Last
Days deception dealing with the topic of lying signs and wonders. Both of these men are
promoters of the unbiblical idea that Mary, the mother of Jesus, appears in apparitions
giving messages from heaven as if they were even more important than the Word of
God. In their effort to revitalize the Roman Catholic Church and establish what they
believe will be the kingdom of God on earth, they are promoting supernatural
appearances of an apparitional woman they claim is Mary the mother of Jesus. Paul
warns about this very deception in the letter he wrote to the Galatians, saying: “But
though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that
which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” [4]

A New Age Site reports: Ascended Master Mary
is known to Christians the world over as the Virgin Mary, Mother of Jesus the Christ.
She serves as the Master who embodies and seeks to anchor on earth the Feminine
and Divine Mother aspects of creation. She can be called upon to assist all mothers-
to-be in bringing forth new life, regardless of their religion. She is full of love, wisdom
and compassion and presides over all births.
Although Christians know Master Mary as the Virgin Mary, she, like all Ascended
Masters, cares not about your religious beliefs. She is the embodiment of the Feminine
Principle and can be called upon to strengthen your heart and fill it with compassion
and unconditional love for all of humanity.
The American is Bishop Ricken from Wisconsin. He has been elected as the new
chairman to The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishop's committee for Evangelization and
Catechesis. The European is Cardinal Schonborn. He is one of the first members
assigned to the new Vatican department called “The Pontifical Council for Promoting the
New Evangelization.”
While perhaps not many see the significance of the appointments of these two men by
the pope, those who take Bible prophesy seriously believe the Last Days will be
characterized by lying signs and wonders. This would include appearances of a
woman claiming to be “Mary the mother of Jesus.”
Therefore this announcement is very significant because both men have a great interest
with apparitions of Mary. Further, it appears that both men see how these appearances
could be useful in the Roman Catholic Church‟s evangelistic efforts to lead people
to the Roman Catholic Jesus. From a biblical perspective, this is not evangelism; this
is outright deception that is authored by Satan to lead people to another Jesus and
another gospel by another spirit. [5]
It was the name Bishop Ricken that caught my attention when I read the article about
the Roman Catholic churches plan to use appearances of “Mary” to enhance the New
Evangelization plan. I had heard of Ricken before from other articles I had read. Bishop
Ricken shared the platform with Greg Laurie in Wisconsin at a city wide Lifest
evangelistic crusade in the spring of 2011 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
It is also a fact that Bishop Ricken investigated and approved an apparition of “Mary”
that supposedly occurred 150 years ago in Door County, Wisconsin known as "Our
Lady of Good Help.” Now people are flocking to this apparitional site endorsed by
Bishop Ricken as they believe this is a legitimate and holy place.
So what does this mean? Will people who attended the meeting in Wisconsin where
Laurie and Ricken both spoke on the same platform be somewhat confused? What if
there are those who attended the Lifest ecumenical meetings who are now convinced
that Ricken‟s program to promote Marian apparitions is a good thing with regard to the
New Evangelization? Apparently, Ricken and his colleague from Europe plan to
promote Marian apparitions as a means of pointing people to the Eucharistic Jesus. As
the article states:
Bishop Ricken has acted boldly in the United States, with his approval of
an apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In Europe, Cardinal Schonborn
has acted fearlessly as well with his activities. Both men, charged with
revitalizing the Catholic faith, have courageously taken action that
acknowledges the supernatural presence of the Our Lady and importantly
her motherly role in leading us to her son. [6]
Since Greg Laurie shared the platform in Oskosh, Wisconsin at the Lifest
Celebration with Bishop Ricken much more has happened. Ricken has now been
promoted to be a key player in the pope‟s New Evangelization program.
Note: Greg Laurie is best known as a Calvary Chapel pastor. His church is listed on
the Calvary Chapel website, and Laurie often speaks at Calvary Chapel functions.

It is well known that Jesuits are behind the devotion to “Our Lady of Peace,” also called
the "Queen of Heaven," that leads to the promotion of the Eucharistic Jesus. This will be
an important part of developing a One-World Religion for Peace that will usher in the

According to the book of Revelation, a woman will reign over the kings of the earth in
the final days. The apostle John marveled with great amazement when he saw the

nations and kingdoms? What will be her fate and the fate of those who follow her? Will
signs and wonders associated with this "Queen of All" and her son (the Eucharistic

Therefore, the questions that should be asked are these: Why would Greg Laurie
endorse Roman Catholic Jesuit Bishop Ricken by sharing the platform with him at the
Lifest gathering in Oshkosh? Is Laurie aware of the damage he has done by forming
this association, or is this just part of a much larger game plan that has not yet
been revealed?
One could also ask, why does Laurie link hands with Rick Warren who has linked hands
with Rome through Tony Blair and the P.E.A.C.E. Plan? The Bible clearly teaches there
will be a counterfeit bride prepared for a counterfeit Christ in the Last Days. Shouldn‟t
the Church of Jesus Christ be warned about this rather than covering up Satan‟s plans?
And shouldn‟t Christian leaders be concerned about the “fruit” of being unequally yoked
those with an unbiblical agenda?

Ben: I uh, I am a loyal listener, I um love going to uh your men‟s conferences [Don

Greg Laurie‟s Harvest, and I have a question because I sometimes I have a hard time
understanding how I communicate with people of the Protestant faith because I am
Catholic, and sometimes we um have communication issues and, they want to get into
apologetics and, you know I love the worship and the fellowship with those - with the
different people but I‟m going to hang onto my faith as well, and I am just curious what
you think about it.
Don Stewart: OK, good question there Ben in fact were glad your going to these events

Chuck Smith: Ben I have a cousin who was a mother superior in the Catholic
Church, and, she was just a wonderful Christian, loved her and we had great
conversations together, and I didn‟t try to convert her from Catholicism nor did she
try to convert me into becoming a Catholic, it‟s just we both recognize that you
know we have, we had the same Lord, and the same faith ya know and so we just
you know on those things we agreed upon we just agreed upon and we didn‟t
really bring up the things where there were disagreements.

Rome, Italy, Dec 8, 2011 / 04:28 pm (CNA/EWTN News).- Pope Benedict XVI reflected
on the biblical description of a “woman clothed with the sun” in his remarks at Rome's
Spanish Steps on the 2011 Feast of the Immaculate Conception.
“What is the meaning of this image? It represents the Church and Our Lady at the
same time,” the Pope told the crowd assembled before the nearby statue
commemorating the 1854 definition of Mary's Immaculate Conception. “Before all, the
'woman' of the apocalypse is Mary herself.”
The 12th chapter of the Biblical Apocalypse – also known as the Book of Revelation –
describes the glorification and persecution of “a woman clothed with the sun,
with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.”
Though not named, this woman is described as the mother of the Messiah. In poetic
language akin to the Bible's other prophetic books, Saint John says she faced the threat
of “a huge red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns,” and “fled into the desert where
she had a place prepared by God.”
Pope Benedict, offering white roses in his traditional yearly act of Marian veneration,
gave listeners his insight into the connection between the Virgin Mary and the
Church – portrayed in the Apocalypse through the single image of the sun-clad
woman.
“She appears 'clothed in sunlight,' that is, clothed in God,” observed the Pope. “The
Virgin Mary is in fact completely surrounded by the light of God and lives in God … The
'Immaculate One' reflects with all of her person the light of the 'sun' which is God.”
“Besides representing Our Lady, this sign personifies the Church, the Christian
community of all times,” he continued.
The Church, he explained, is “pregnant, in the sense that she carries Christ” and
“must give birth to him to the world.”
“This is the labor of the pilgrim Church on earth, that in the midst of the consolations of
God and the persecutions of the world, she must bring Christ to men.”
Because the Church continues to bring Jesus into the world, Pope Benedict said,
it “finds opposition in a ferocious adversary,” symbolized in scripture by the
“dragon” that has “tried in vain to devour Jesus,” and now “directs his attacks
against the woman – the Church – in the desert of the world.”
“But in every age the Church is supported by the light and the strength of God,” the
Pope said. “She is nurtured in the desert with the bread of his word and the Holy
Eucharist.”
“The only pitfall of which the Church can and must be afraid is the sin of her
members,” he warned, highlighting the key difference between the Church and the
woman who is its prototype.
“While in fact Mary is immaculate – free from every stain of sin – the Church is
holy, but at the same time marked by our sins.”
While sinless herself, Mary remains in solidarity with the Church struggling
against sin.
“That is why the people of God, pilgrims in time, turn to their heavenly mother and ask
for her help,” explained Pope Benedict.
He stressed the world's need for the hope brought by the “woman clothed with
the sun” – “especially in this difficult moment for Italy, for Europe and for
different parts of the world.”
“May Mary help us to see that there is a light beyond the veil of fog that appears
to envelop reality,” he declared.
“For this also we, especially on this day, never cease to ask with filial trust for her help:
'O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you.'”

Mary as the woman of the Apocalypse? While Mary is indeed the mother of Jesus in the
flesh, the woman spoken of in the passage in Revelation 12 is really Israel. How do we
know? Because God has already revealed to us who the woman is with the sun, moon
and 12 stars. You can find it in Genesis 37:9-11.
Gen 37:9 ¶ And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said,
Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and
the eleven stars made obeisance to me.
Gen 37:10 And he told [it] to his father, and to his brethren: and his father
rebuked him, and said unto him, What [is] this dream that thou hast dreamed?
Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to
thee to the earth?
This is how we identify the woman because Revelation is prophetic and has a lot of
symbolism so it is important to find the key from other parts of the scripture. Though it
may seem to be Mary yet its not really talking of Mary.

Catholics Proclaim: “Our Lady of all nations will defeat Satan”

The mother of "god", the Queen of Heaven is also the Catholic "Our lady of all nations".
She can be visited in a chapel in Amsterdam.
This is the central doctrine of end time Marian theology. It is "Catholic Mary" as
co-redeemer and advocate, that will return to Earth and defeat Satan.

This kind of Marian property has its root in Pope Pius XII‟s doctrine of "Catholic Mary"
as co-redeemer of her son.
The Church of our Lady of Arabia in Kuwait agrees with this Papal doctrine. It is the very
doctrines that can unite the Islamic and Catholic World. The two largest faith
communities on Earth seems unable to agree on who the Son is, so there is a need for
a compromise. As long as the sons mother is elevated, they can stand united.
This is the Queen of Heaven that supposedly will return and save both Catholics and
Muslims in Kuwait.

A dead Messiah hangs next to the Queen of Heaven, who is alive in all her glory.

This was the crime of a huge number of the martyrs of Christianity. The refused to bow
to Hellish Papal doctrines, and the "mother of the Popes". The Queen of Heaven is
drunk on the the blood of the saints. She and her popes will face stern judgment. They
will all burn in the flames of Hell for eternity.

Catholic Mary of Lebanon blessed in Church in Italy

1 John 1:8 warns us that if we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the
truth is not in us.
Romans 3:23 says for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
But not the great Queen of Heaven whore. She was without sin, and has been
elevated by the Catholic church to co-redemtrix with Jesus Christ. She also has a
"son", a false Messiah copy-cat.

Mary Magdalene‟s supposed skull venerated and worshiped in Catholic Church

A skull placed inside a head of gold, with "golden hair" is paraded and adored in France
as claimed to be Mary Magdalene.
This is the absolute height of spiritual perversion.
This "reliquary with skull of Mary Magdalene" can be venerated and adored in the
basilica crypt of St. Maximinin la Saint Baume in France.

That this skull is venerated inside this crypt, is bad enough. But the public parade of this
front part of a human head, is tasteless and almost beyond explainable.
French Roman Catholics parade this golden statue on their shoulders.
These Catholics claim this skull is of the first Christian witness that saw the risen
Messiah.
The skull is covered by a golden mask, when this abomination is paraded through the
streets. They have put a front cover on the skull, to make it look like a "golden angel".
But inside the “Church”, the worshiper‟s can adore and venerate the skull.
The golden mask is removed, when the golden idol is displayed inside this Vatican
approved and blessed by the Catholic Church.
What a shameless disgrace, almost unexplainable spiritual perversion.
This is a "Church" that would fit perfectly in any horror movie. The golden statue is
placed at the center of the room meant for prayer and worship.
The walking dead among us, on their way to the everlasting fire of Hell unless they get
saved.
The Bible is very clear about what kind of people have made this kind of golden
blasphemous mockery of the truth.

delectable things shall not profit; and they [are] their own witnesses; they see
not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.

Catholic church stole 300.000 babies in Spain

Roman Catholic nurses in Spain, were involved in child trafficking. They stole babies
right from the womb of their mothers

Spanish society has been shaken by allegations of the theft and trafficking of up to
300,000 babies by nuns, priests and doctors, which started under Franco and continued
up to the 1990s.
I first met Manoli Pagador in Getafe, in a working-class suburb of Madrid. She was
attending a meeting for people affected by the scandal Spaniards call "ninos robados" -
stolen children.
She has three daughters and lots of grandchildren, but she has never got over the loss
of her first-born - a son - nearly 40 years ago.
She had come to think she was crazy for believing he was alive, instead of dead and
buried as hospital doctors had told her.
"Now," she said, gripping my hand tightly. "Look around the room at the other
women here. All like me. The same background. The same experience. I'm not
mad and my family finally believes me."
In 1971 Manoli, who was 23 at the time and not long married, gave birth to what she
was told was a healthy baby boy, but he was immediately taken away for what were
called routine tests.
Nine interminable hours passed. "Then, a nun, who was also a nurse, coldly
informed me that my baby had died," she says.
They would not let her have her son's body, nor would they tell her when the
funeral would be.
Did she not think to question the hospital staff?
"Doctors, nuns?" she says, almost in horror. "I couldn't accuse them of lying.
This was Franco's Spain. A dictatorship. Even now we Spaniards tend not to question
authority."
The scale of the baby trafficking was unknown until this year, when two men -
Antonio Barroso and Juan Moreno, childhood friends from a seaside town near
Barcelona - discovered that they had been bought from a nun. Their parents
weren't their real parents, and their life had been built on a lie.
Juan Luis Moreno discovered the truth when the man he had been brought to call
"father" was on his deathbed.
"He said, 'I bought you from a priest in Zaragoza'. He said that Antonio had been bought
as well."
The pair were hurt and angry. They say they felt like two dogs that had been bought at a
pet shop. An adoption lawyer they turned to for advice said he came across cases
like theirs all the time.
The pair went to the press and suddenly the story was everywhere. Mothers began to
come forward across Spain with disturbingly similar stories.
After months of requests from the BBC, the Spanish government finally put forward
Angel Nunez from the justice ministry to talk to me about Spain's stolen children.
Asked if babies were stolen, Mr Nunez replied: "Without a doubt".
"How many?" I asked.
"I don't dare to come up with figures," he answered carefully. "But from the volume of
official investigations I dare to say there were many."
Lawyers believe that up to 300,000 babies were taken.
The practice of removing children from parents deemed "undesirable" and placing them
with "approved" families, began in the 1930s under the dictator General Francisco
Franco.
At that time, the motivation may have been ideological. But years later, it seemed to
change - babies began to be taken from parents considered morally - or economically -
deficient. It became a money-spinner, too.
The scandal is closely linked to the Catholic Church, which under Franco
assumed a prominent role in Spain's social services including hospitals, schools
and children's homes.
Nuns and priests compiled waiting lists of would-be adoptive parents, while
doctors were said to have lied to mothers about the fate of their children.
The name of one doctor, Dr Eduardo Vela, has come up in a number of victim
investigations.
In 1981, Civil Registry sources indicate that 70% of births at Dr Vela's San Ramon
clinic in Madrid were registered as "mother unknown".
This was legal under Spanish law, and was meant to protect the anonymity of
unmarried mothers. It is alleged that this was also widely used to cover up baby theft
and trafficking.
Dr Vela stands accused of telling women their babies had died when they had not and
handing over those newborn children to other couples for cash.
A Spanish magazine published photographs of a dead baby kept in a freezer at the San
Ramon clinic, supposedly to show mothers that their child had died.
He refused to give the BBC an interview. But, by coincidence, I had recently given birth
at a clinic he founded, so I was able to book an appointment with him.
We met at his private practice in his home in Madrid. The man painted as a monster in
the Spanish media was old and smiley, but his smile soon disappeared when I
confessed to being a journalist.
Dr Vela grabbed a metal crucifix which had been standing on his desk. He moved
towards me brandishing it in my face. "Do you know what this is, Katya?" he said.
"I have always acted in his name. Always for the good of the children and to
protect the mothers. Enough."
Dr Vela insists he always acted within the law.

For us who claim the Roman Catholic Church is the whore of Babylon, this is not a
shocking revelation. We have exposed the great prostitute over many years. But our
warnings have fallen for deaf ears among most of the Vatican faithful.
Maybe this report can make a difference?
I do not think so.
When your God is the father of all lies, it does not matter what kind of corpses
and skeletons that might call out of your own cup board. You take pleasure in
your life in sin and indulgences, and submit to the priesthood of Satan.
If they rape your own son, you will put up a brave face, find some excuses. You
will not admit that you are a supporter of the very "Church of anti-Christ", an
organizations that is a pit of sin, a hell bound gathering of deceived people and
deceased hypocrites.
The spirit of death reigns in your hearts and minds.
If you want to live, take the distasteful idols off your family altar, and burn them in
the fire.
Than go down on your knees, and beg Jesus to release you from all the curses
that has passed down through the generation.
Tell your priest to leave your house. Tell him never to set his foot there, ever
again.
Do it today.
If you seek Him with a humble heart and knock on His door, the door will be
opened for you. Your heart and mind will change. Your spiritual eyes will be
opened. Washed by the blood of the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Pope cover up crimes of two Irish Bishops

The Pope has power to ordain, remove, pardon and restore Roman Catholic Bishops.
Archbishop Martin of Dublin provided an explanation in letter to priests and other local
Church officials, saying:
"Following the presentation of their resignations to Pope Benedict, it has been decided
that Bishop Eamonn Walsh and Bishop Raymond Field will remain as auxiliary bishops."
Bishop Walsh and Bishop Field submitted their resignations in Dec. of 2009 after the
report of the Commission of Investigation into allegations of child abuse in the
Archdiocese of Dublin.

Over a dozen current and former bishops in Ireland have reportedly been complicit in
failing to inform police about more than 170 suspected pedophiles in the priesthood
from the mid-1970s to mid-1990s.
Vatican spokesman Fr. Federico Lombardi did not comment on why the two auxiliary
bishops would stay in their positions nor did he confirm the rejection of the resignations.
Rather, he told the AP that the Vatican only makes public announcements when
resignations are accepted, not when they are rejected.

Comments:
So Catholic Bishop who has fallen into sin, can only be pardoned by the Pope. Since
the Irish Government has accused the Catholic Church of sexual abuse of 150.000
children since the 1930-ties, the present Pope has surely pardoned more sins than any
man can handle.
The Pope could have accepted the resignation of the Bishops, but chose not.
There might be many reasons behind the Popes cover up. The two Bishops may know
about many more skeletons in the closet of the Vatican itself. I personally think it boils
down to protecting their own, meaning pedophiles protecting pedophiles.
But since the Pope has pardoned them surely there is a need for the Popes comments
in what looks like yet another denial of justice for sexually abused children by the
hands of their pedophile priesthood; but don‟t hold your breath.
