University Cheerleader Requirements (Tryouts)
Running Tumbling: Round-off, Back-handspring, Back-tuck
Standing Tumbling: Toe Back Handspring, Standing Back-Tuck, Toe-Tuck
Jumps: Toe Touch, Pike
Uniform for tryouts: Black Boy Cut Tights, Purple Sports Bra, and Hair must be up in a
ponytail with gold bow.
Ladies must have on make –up with red lipstick and not lip gloss that compliments your
skin color. White tennis shoes.
Men must have Black shorts and a purple T-shirt, and white tennis shoes.
Note: $250.00 for camp clothes, tennis shoes, T-shirts, etc. must be paid to the Fiscal
Office, located in the W R Banks Building. Bring copy of receipt to Ms. Betty Hall,
Cheerleader Advisor, MSC Room 221G. One-half of money is due 2-weeks after tryouts
and the other half is due the first day you report to camp. If your funds are not paid in
full by Friday, May 2, 2008, you will not be allowed to participate in summer camps.
