Trip to France 2012
Dear Parents,
I will be leading a group of students from the Lovett School to Paris next March on
an educational tour operated by ACIS (American Council for International Studies),
the nation’s leading sponsor of educational trips. Its programs are fully insured, and
its nation-wide reputation is based on 34 years of experience, with more than 500,
000 student and adult travelers. The teacher-chaperones going on the trip are
experienced travelers and know the area well.
Your child has expressed interest in this international learning experience.
Announcements about the trip have already generated a good deal of excitement at
school. If you would like to register for the trip to France, please complete the
registration form on the back of the Registration Booklet and return to Mrs.
Meurisse in room 202. Please note that the prices for registration will increase if a
deposit is not received by November 7th.
We are departing Friday, March 2, 2012 for 1 week in France, where we will stay in
conveniently located, comfortable hotels. Our structured program includes
sightseeing trips, excursions, walking tours and many exciting local activities. A full-
time, specially selected tour manager will accompany us on all of our educational
excursions and assist us in making the most of our free time.
There are a minimum number of 12 students required to go on the trip to France;
otherwise, there will be a cancellation.
I will be hosting a meeting in room 202 of the middle school building on Wednesday,
November 2, 2012 at 12:15 pm to discuss the details of the trip. If you cannot
