What is a Hybrid Vehicle ?
Hybrid vehicle uses more than one source for producing and delivering power to the wheels The “primary” source is a diesel or gas engine, and the “secondary” or “hybrid” source is electrical or hydraulic Hybrids can capture and store energy during braking
Hybrid system allow both sources to operate most of the time near their optimum conditions

Hybrid Vehicle Technology
One of the most promising new technologies emerging for medium- and heavy-duty vehicles Offers increased vehicle fuel efficiency and reduce emissions The potential for significant fuel economy gains in the face of
rising fuel prices is currently one of the most attractive features of the hybrid. Possibility of reduced noise, electrical power generation, reduced brake maintenance
