Zero Gravity Corporation (ZERO-G®) Planet Earth’s First Spaceline™
Company Backgrounder Zero Gravity Corporation (ZERO-G®) is a privately held space entertainment and tourism company headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The company’s mission is to make the excitement and adventure of space accessible to the public in a safe, fun and cost-effective fashion. To that end, Zero Gravity Corporation founders, astronauts Peter H. Diamandis, MD, and Byron K. Lichtenberg, PhD, have spent the last 11 years working to realize their dream to bring the marvel of Weightless Flight to the public and take the first real step towards space tourism and commercial sub-orbital flight.
Initially, the company’s focus was on the selection of the 727-200 aircraft and the completion of a series of FAA test flights. The company has since worked diligently over the past five years with the FAA to complete all necessary engineering and plane modifications, and conducting the testing required to achieve the highest levels of safety for its operations. During the FAA certification
process, ZERO-G conducted more than 1,000 parabolas for flight certification and safety demonstrations.
ZERO-G is committed to safety and has made it a number one priority. NASA, The Department of Defense, the Russian Space Program, and the European Space Agency (ESA) have performed parabolic flights for 45 years without incident. NASA alone has performed more than 150,000
parabolas on aircraft such as the KC-135, DC-9 and Learjet-25. ZERO-G is committed to maintaining this record of safety by emulating NASA’s best practice standards and utilizing expert and experienced staff.

ZERO-G’s first product offering is commercial, Weightless Flights (known as The ZERO-G Experience™) aboard a specially modified Boeing 727-200 aircraft named G-FORCE-ONE. ZERO-G is the only company approved by the FAA to conduct Weightless Flight for the public. These are the same types of flights used by NASA to train their astronauts and used by Ron Howard in the filming of Apollo 13.
The ZERO-G Experience™ is a full-day program led by a veteran astronaut in which a Flyer (our customer) experiences Martian, Lunar and Zero Gravity conditions. Flyers will become Weightless Certified and also receive unique merchandise, videos and photography from the flight.
The ZERO-G Experience will fly out of the Jet Center Aviation Group’s private airport facility, which adjoins Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. The training and briefing program, which readies Flyers for their weightless flight experience, will take place at the new Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood. Amerijet International, the Fort Lauderdale-based cargo transportation and logistics provider, is ZERO-G’s aircraft partner.
ZERO-G serves the general public (age 15 and over), as well as the entertainment and film industries, corporate and incentive market, non-profit research and education sectors, and government. Zero Gravity Corporation is headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Its flight operations are conducted out of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
