PRESIDENT’S PAGE
Greetings fellow Olds Club Members,
It is hard to believe that the summer is almost gone. Kiddies are going back to school and vacations are coming
to an end for some. That also means that the cars shows and cruise ins will be wrapping up in another month.
But let’s not wish away another month. As you will see later there are an abundance of car shows for the month
of September. I only wish there was the same for rain and cooler weather.
Included in this month’s newsletter is an article that was spotted by one of our club members while on vacation.
Popular Hot Rodding magazine was covering the Nashville Good Guys show and had a write up on the
Autocross event. Our very own Jason Thompson was featured in the article. Kudos to Jason.
This month’s club outing and meeting will be at the Holley LS Fest in Bowling Green Kentucky. We will be
meeting at the Cracker Barrel on Long Hollow pike and caravan up on Saturday September 10th. We plan on
leaving around 9 am. If you would like to arrive earlier and eat, that option is open. I have included a list of
events for the day. You can also visit their website at http://www.holley.com/LSFest/
Please contact me at 615-456-2404 or Alan at 615-351-0550 with any questions.
Hope to see you in your Oldsmobile.
Aaron
