Celebrate July 4th With Us
Pre-Fireworks Dinner at Jack-Tar. Make your reservation now for an outdoor
patio table on Monday, July 4th. Marblehead's Fireworks Celebration is
scheduled to begin at sun down (8:30 pm-ish). We recommend reserving a table
at no later than 7:00pm if you want to catch the display. Call us at 781-631-2323
to reserve your table.
Picnic Dinners. Jack-Tar will be packaging special picnic dinners for diners who
want to reserve their viewing spot early while enjoying a great meal. A menu of
picnic dinners will be advertised in the local
paper, through our emails and via flyers around town. Please call us at 781-631-
2323 to place your order -- 10% discount for ordering at least 24 hours in
advance.
Post-Fireworks Party. Jack-Tar will be hosting a special post-fireworks reception.
So, instead of sitting in mind-numbing traffic just trying to get yourself down
Atlantic Avenue, stop in to Jack-Tar to enjoy a cocktail and some complimentary
hors d'oeuvres. The patio will be open and the Red Sox-Rangers game will be
featured at the Jack-Tar bar. We hope to see you on July 4th.

New Summer Menu
We've updated our dinner menu for summer! We've added several new salads
and appetizers. There is a new specialty pizza, new sandwiches, pasta dishes
and entrees, including a smoked half chicken and tequila-lime marinated shrimp
skewers. Plus, we've brought back our our lobster roll and our very popular
spaghetinni with fresh english sweet peas in a gorgonzola cheese, smoked
bacon and herb cream sauce.
But have no fear. While we've added a number of new dishes that we're sure
you'll enjoy, we've retained a number of your favorites -- that's right, the mac n
cheese is staying as is wild mushroom ravioli. And, the steak tips aren't going
anywhere, and neither are the ribs.

Best Steak - #1 in Marblehead and Bronze Star (#3) on the North Shore.
Best Seafood - Honorable Mention for Marblehead
This is a major accomplishment for Jack-Tar in its second year of operation.
Clearly, such accolades would not be possible without the hard work, dedication
and overall excellence of our staff. We also thank all of our patrons who voted
for us -- it is extremely gratifying to have established ourselves in the hearts,
minds and stomachs of local diners.

Sure, we could have just called it sangria, but we're too creative for that. Enjoy a

Jack-Tar's Patio is Now Open
You'll notice a few things about Jack-Tar's outdoor patio:
It's the largest outdoor dining space in Marblehead -- and we recently
added two new large tables
We are in the process of installing new lighting for both function and
fashion (no more flashlights when want to read the menu!)
We've completed new landscaping

Admiral's Club Update
Jack-Tar's Admiral's Club promotion has been wildly successful. More than 800
diners are now card-carrying members of the Admiral's Club - which entitles them
to special discounts, rewards and other valuable incentive prizes. This is a very
important way we can provide our loyal customers with additional incentives to
return to Jack-Tar.
Throughout May and into early June, we experienced prolonged Internet
outages, which impacted our ability to conduct real-time Admiral's Club
transactions (although all awards and points earned during this time were
retained in our system). We have since resolved these issues and appreciate
your patience during this period.
As more people have enrolled in Jack-Tar's Admiral's Club, we have been able to
continually modify our systems for tracking and designating discounts and
awards for club members. We've added new rewards levels for our most
frequent diners, and plan to revamp the awards to include new Jack-Tar apparel
such as our hats and t-shirts.

Private Functions at Jack-Tar
Jack-Tar is quickly emerging as the venue of choice for special events of all
kinds and all sizes. From baby showers and bridal showers to rehearsal dinners
and fundraising events, Jack-Tar is proving to be a
great place to host an array of private functions for up to 75 people.
With two separate dinning rooms, a unique bar area and our outdoor patio (the
town's largest outdoor dining space), Jack-Tar can accommodate your event
needs. We will work with you to design a menu that caters to your tastes and

Jack-Tar Togs - New Hats & T-Shirts On Sale
Jack-Tar American Tavern has officially its launched its new line of Jack-Tar
apparel. Customers can now proudly display their support of Jack-Tar with new
Jack-Tar hats and t-shirts, which are now on sale at the restaurant. Check our
Web site in the coming months as we plan to launch an online store that will offer
Jack-Tar branded merchandise such as mugs, pens and bumper stickers in
addition to a broader selection of apparel.

Paul Riccardi is our chef. His recipes and culinary skills have won over the
hearts, minds and stomachs across the North Shore.
Favorite Beer at Jack-Tar: Newport Storm - I liked it so much, it's now an
ingredient in our mussels appetizer!
Favorite Wine at Jack-Tar: The Jake's Fault Shiraz. It was recently added
to the wine list!
Favorite Cocktail at Jack-Tar: I like pina coladas (and getting caught in the
rain) but have also been know to enjoy a shot of Tequila
every so often
Favorite Dish at Jack-Tar: The Ribs
Hobbies: Smoking (no, not that type of smoking). I am an avid BBQ fan --
be sure to try the smoked half chicken
