ACADEMIC ALL-STATE
Dear Coach:
Enclosed is the nomination form for the IFCA Academic All-State Football Team. The
IFCA feels this is an excellent opportunity to strengthen the bond between academics and
athletics in our high schools. Please take the time to nominate a deserving player. The
IFCA Academic All-State Teams will be chosen and released in January.
When completing this form:
1. Please send form by email if possible.
2. Make sure the student’s name is spelled correctly and is legible.
3. A TEAM MAY NOMINATE A MAXIMUM OF THREE (3) PLAYERS.
4. The nominating school must be a member of IFCA.
5. Forms are also available on the IFCA web site (http://www.ifba.org).
6. Nominating forms must be returned by December 15
Criteria for nomination and selection:
1. Player must be a senior starter.
2. Player must have a cumulative GPA of 3.7 or better at the end of their junior year.
3. Player must be involved in other extra-curricular activities.
4. A coach must recommend the player.
