1-Each participant is equipped with a response pad (Students can also work as teams)
2--Participants respond to questions projected from a PC (or Mac) using a data-video projector onto a
projection screen NOTE: An interactive whiteboard (aka “smart board”) can be used in instead of a
projectionScreen. eInstruction offers the unique Dualboard, Interactive Whiteboard
3-The receiver plugs into the instructor PC and captures participant responses. CPS offers both IR
and RF versions. With the RF version, the receiver can be located anywhere.
4-A standard PC or Mac (either laptop or Desktop) runs the CPS software, which is used to generate
questions, capture and save participant responses, and generate reports.
5-Using a wireless tablet such as the eInstruction Mobiview, the instructor is free to move around the
Classroom, while controlling the PC and the CPS Software. If the tablet is the primary means of
interaction, the screen can be larger than a typical interactive whiteboard.
