Recommended Configuration:
CPU: Pentium III or higher      Hard Disk Space:50MB or more
Display :AGP device with no less than 8Mb display memory

Installing Image Analysis Software
1.How to install software

Insert Cd in CD-Rom Double Click Setup.Exe




Double Click on Setup.exe then this screen comes




Then follow further process if any message comes then ignore and click yes.
After doing ok comes in starts then click HardnessPro Series




The First Step is capturing Image through microscopes.
First install your capture card driver then open our software
You can also see full size image also.

You can set format to 320x240 , this is default.If we capture image at this format is is easy to Analysis,
and giving best report format.




If your capture card driver is installed properly then capture window is appear in
320x240 format. Now set your image then save it through the
same menu in Save Single frame as .bmp .Then give it file name .If it ask any message click Ok and
move next step. Now You can open your captured image for processing through File-Open etc.
You can filter also on live images see Go >Option> Source

Option and capture Menu is capture card settings.
For saving File > Save Single Frame as .bmp




First open image for calibration ,Calibration is only for one time.
Open image of x-axis calibration scale, then click from menu or button
Drag mouse according to ur measurement Give ur scale mode, give scale x,
Then click y radio button ,then open image for y-axis calibration scale
Image do as before

Fill y scale detail then ok. Now ur calibration name has been saved.
Before starting measurement select ur calibration name from combo box then starts
You can see image property through ,Menu as
File,Image property
Then click y then drag mouse in y-axis image as shown
 Fill that y scale also. Press ok. Then select ur calibration scale name from combo box. Calibration is only for one
time with particular microscopes.

Now starts your measurement. For Length select length button, then mouse on image
Simple open an image for measurement. Drag a line on image, at right side a box appears, Click on
merge button to get in report. Then Ok for other measurement.
If you want another measurement choose another one like area or any other toolbar . then do same
process on image then do merge

For radius click on radius button ,select three points then see




1.For hardness testing do proper calibration in mm.

First open an Image, Go in hardness testing menu.
A frame of hardness testing appears Vickers and Brinell. You can select Vickers or Brinell.
For Vickers:- Click mouse on image and drag it for the value of d.
It will automatically put it value in d box, then .It will ask for test Load,
Give Input test load.
i.e 500, then result will automatically comes in Hv.




One example is also given in demo cd , from Calibration box choose second one it is in mm.

The formula for calculating Hardness
 Hv=1.854 x Wt.in Kg / (d)2
Open the image for Hardness testing. Select calibration, Draw a line as 0.1mm
Give the test lopad value in kg like 0.1kg Now you can check the result
Hv =1.854 x 0.1 / (0.1)2 Hv=18.54
This is the accurate result.
For brinell :-
Select Brinell , It has two heading Ball dia, Indent dia, Click mouse on image
drag it,It will automatically give value of Ball dia box, again drag it for Indent dia.
Then click on calculate ,It will ask for Applied Force,Put the applied force ,result will
automatically comes.
