					                       Dan.3:16-18
16. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and
said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful
to answer thee in this matter.
17. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver
us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us
out of thine hand, O king.
18. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will
not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which
thou hast set up.
                           Dan.3:1-7
1. Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose
height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six
cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of
Babylon.
2. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together
the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the
treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of
the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which
Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
3. Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges,
the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers
of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication
of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and
they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set
up.
                         Dan.3:1-7
4. Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O
people, nations, and languages,
5. That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute,
harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye
fall down and worship the golden image that
Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:
6. And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the
same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery
furnace.

7. Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the
sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all
kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the
languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that
Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
                       Dan.3:8,12

8. Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and
accused the Jews.

12. There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the
affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and
Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they
serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which
thou hast set up.
                        Dan.3:13-15

13. Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded
to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they
brought these men before the king.

14. Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my
gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?

15. Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound
of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer,
and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image
which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be
cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery
furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my
hands?
                       Dan.3:16-18
18. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will
not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image
which thou hast set up.
                       Dan. 3:19-22
19. Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of
his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and
Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they
should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was
wont to be heated.

20. And he commanded the most mighty men that were in
his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to
cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
21. Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen,
and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into
the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
22. Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent,
and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew
those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
                       Dan.3:24-25;27

24. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose
up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did
not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They
answered and said unto the king, True, O king.

25. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose,
walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and
the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

27. And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's
counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon
whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their
head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell
of fire had passed on them.
                       Dan.3:17-18

17. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver
us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out
of thine hand, O king.

18. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not
serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou
hast set up.
Our God is able to deliver us!
     1st: James & Peter: (Acts 12:1-2; 5-10)

 1. Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his
hands to vex certain of the church.
2. And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.
Our God is able to deliver us!
     1st: James & Peter: (Acts 12:1-2; 5-10)

5. Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made
without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
6. And when Herod would have brought him forth, the
same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers,
bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door
kept the prison.
7. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and
a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the
side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his
chains fell off from his hands.
Our God is able to deliver us!
     1st: James & Peter: (Acts 12:1-2; 5-10)
8. And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on
thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy
garment about thee, and follow me.

9. And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it
was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw
a vision.
10. When they were past the first and the second ward,
they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city;
which opened to them of his own accord: and they went
out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the
angel departed from him.
Our God is able to deliver us!
    1st: James & Peter: (Acts 12:1-2; 5-10)
                         Is.55:8

8. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your
ways my ways, saith the LORD.

God’s ways are not man’s ways!
Our God is able to deliver us!
     1st: James & Peter: (Acts 12:1-2; 5-10)
     2nd: Stephen: (Acts 7:58-60)
58. And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the
witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet,
whose name was Saul.

59. And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and
saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

60. And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice,
Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said
this, he fell asleep.
Our God is able to deliver us!

2nd: Stephen: (Acts 7:58-60)

Our God is able to deliver us!
                3rd: Hezekiah: (Is.38:1-5)
1. In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah
the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto
him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou
shalt die, and not live.
2. Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and
prayed unto the LORD,
3. And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I
have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart,
and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah
wept sore.
4. Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying,
5. Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God
of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy
tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.
Our God is able to deliver us!
      3rd: Hezekiah: (Is.38:1-5)

God’s ways are not man’s ways!
Our God is able to deliver us!

2nd: Stephen: (Acts 7:58-60)
3rd: Hezekiah: (Is.38:1-5)
4th: Paul: (2Cor.12:7-9)
Our God is able to deliver us!
               4th: Paul: (2Cor.12:7-9)
7. And lest I should be exalted above measure through the
abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a
thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me,
lest I should be exalted above measure.
8. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it
might depart from me.
9. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for
my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly
therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the
power of Christ may rest upon me.
Our God is able to deliver us!
     4th: Paul: (2Cor.12:7-9)
God’s ways are not mans ways!
Our God is able to deliver us!
1st: James & Peter: (Acts 12:1-2; 5-10)
2nd: Stephen: (Acts 7:58-60)
3rd: Hezekiah: (Is.38:1-5)

5th: People today: (1Pet.1:6-7 4:12)
Our God is able to deliver us!
           5th: People today: (1Pet.1:6-7 4:12)
6. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if
need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

7. That the trial of your faith, being much more precious
than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might
be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing
of Jesus Christ:

 12. Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial
which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened
                           unto you:
Our God is able to deliver us!
                         Dan.3:17

17. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver
us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out
of thine hand, O king.

1. I learn that I am to have that same kind
of faith in God that when I face the
fiery trials of life, whatever they may
be, If it be so, my God whom I serve is
   able to deliver me!
Our God is able to deliver us!
                           Dan.3:18
 18. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will
not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which
 thou hast set up.

2. I learn from this that if God chooses not
to deliver me from my fiery trail, But if not
whatever that trial may be, I am to have the
same kind of faith in God as s,m,a, and like
them I must be willing to go through
whatever I have too in order to remain
faithful to the only true and living God!
Our God is able to deliver us!

              *Remember:
They knew God could but they didn’t know
             if He would!

God’s ways are not man’s ways!
                               In Christ
                                     =
                                SAVED
                     Baptized
                     (Gal.3:27)
               Confess (Rom.10:10)
