- All of the hostages were killed
- 8 were killed at the airport, 3 were killed at the
Olympic housing.
- 1 German police officer was killed
- 5 of 8 terrorist were killed
- The Olympics were suspended for a day
- The Israeli flag was flown higher then all the
other national flags
- They wanted to land in Egypt
- Prime minister didn’t want anything to do with
it.
- Israel wanted to cancel the games, asked for
U.S. support, but the games were never
cancelled.

bases in Syria and Lebanon in retaliation.
An attack was condemned by the UN Security
Council.
On October 29th, a German jet was hijacked.
The hijackers demanded to release of the Black
September terrorist. They were released.
