Position Title: Housing Coordinator
Job Description: The Housing Coordinator will identify, secure and
facilitate housing for over 500 festival artists.
Responsibilities include serving as a liaison between
artists and local property managers to coordinate
appropriate housing, working with the College of
Charleston to arrange dormitory accommodations, and
working with hotels to manage large group reservations.
The Housing Coordinator will also troubleshoot all post-
arrival housing problems. Candidates must have prior
administrative experience, be highly detail oriented and
have very strong organizational, communication and
computer skills. The ability to create relationships, multi-
task and remain unflappable under intense pressure is
necessary. Prior experience with coordinating large-scale
events a plus. Significant evening and weekend time
commitment is necessary beginning mid-April through
the end of the festival.

Position Title: Transportation Coordinator
Job Description: The Transportation Coordinator will arrange travel and
transportation for over 500 festival artists.
Responsibilities include working with artists to purchase
individual and group travel and coordinating all group
and individual arrivals and departures. The
Transportation Coordinator will also coordinate local
artist transportation, facilitate car and bus rentals, and
hire, schedule and supervise Festival drivers.
Candidates must have prior administrative experience,
be highly detail oriented, and have very strong
organizational, communication and computer skills,
especially in Excel. The ability to think fast and problem-
solve on the spot is necessary. Prior experience with
arranging travel and/or complex transportation
schedules a plus. Significant evening and weekend time
commitment is necessary beginning mid-April through
the end of the festival.
