TUESDAY, December 2, 2008 is the next stated meeting of the Presbytery of Hudson River.
The Presbytery will gather for worship and business at 3:00 PM at the Irvington Presbyterian
Church, Irvington, New York.
CHILDCARE will be provided by the presbytery at the September 23rd meeting. If you wish to
use this service (at Presbytery’s expense), please contact the Presbytery office (914-941-2100)
by Friday, September 19. We need to know your name and telephone number, the number of
children to receive care and their ages, the hours when care is needed, and any special
information about your child(ren). Please provide your own special food and diapers.
LUNCH is offered by the host church for $7.00. Reservations are not needed.
Those unable to attend a stated meeting should submit their request for excuse to the

Our featured focus for this meeting is the Spiritual Practice of Discernment. Part I (1:30 PM) is
an official part of our presbytery meeting. Part II will be a deeper exploration of the steps used
in the discernment practice and will be open to those who were not part of Part I. We strongly
encourage Sessions to send representatives to one or both of these learning workshops.
