Environmental biotechnology, waste treatment, health and safety



Areas of Research :



biosorption; biofouling; biofilm; biocorrosion; microbial fuel cells; biofuel; renewable

energy; microbially enhanced oil recovery, water and wastewater treatment and analysis.

1. Optimization of Cr removal from electroplating effluent by chemical precipitation (FYP)

2. Cost- and performance comparison of green technology for the recovery of Cr(VI) from

electroplating effluents (FYP)

3. From waste to energy: A Malaysian Perspective (FYP)

5. BioChar to soil: A bargain of effects (Mondialogo)

6. GoScience: Microbial fuel cells for bioelectricity production. (a joint EU project proposal)

2. Chemically tuned biosorbent: A case for carbonized tea waste

3. Effect of non-conventional quorum-sensing based biochemicals on biofim formation of

antibiotic-resistant isolates from dental unit water lines
