Payment of Fees

   1. If you pay for a total of at least three terms of study on an academic preparation
      programme or on an English for Undergraduate or Postgraduate Study Course, on or before
      the due date of four weeks before the first course start date you will receive a reduction of
      £500 of the total tuition amount due for that programme. This will be shown in your
      invoice. For full details please see the Terms and Conditions page included with this letter
      or the terms and conditions page in the brochure.

   1. The payment of your deposit means the following;

      1.1 Payment of a £1000 tuition deposit will hold a place for you on your chosen course up
          until 4 weeks before the start date of your course (unless due to demand we advise you
          differently). To guarantee your place on your chosen course you must pay your full
          tuition fees by 07/Dec/2009. Payment by this date will guarantee you a place on your
          chosen course and, for students paying full fees for a total of at least three terms of an
          academic preparation programme or an English for Undergraduate/Postgraduate Study
          programme, a reduction of £500 towards total tuition fees due. If you pay your full
          tuition fees less than 4 weeks before the start date of the course we can no longer
          guarantee you a place on your chosen course, and on arrival you may be placed onto a
          different course.

      1.2 For all students who‘s first course starts on or after 1 September 2009, payment of a
          £1000 accommodation deposit will hold you a place in your chosen accommodation up
          until 4 weeks before the start date of your course (unless due to demand we advise you
          differently). To guarantee your place you must pay your full accommodation fees by
          07/Dec/2009. Upon full payment of your accommodation fees you will receive a
          confirmation email advising you of the accommodation which has been reserved for you.
          If you pay your accommodation fees less than 4 weeks before the start date of the
          course, we will no longer hold a place in accommodation for you and you may have to
          arrange your own accommodation.


      Visa Refusal

      If you wish to cancel your course due to visa refusal, you will not incur any cancellation
      charges, always providing that you inform us in writing and send us evidence of the visa
      refusal to the INTO Admissions office in the UK no later than four weeks after your
      course start date. Failure to do this will result in normal cancellation charges and no fees
      will be refunded.


      Deferrals
      You may defer the start of your course, on the grounds that you have been prevented by
      external events from starting your course, up to a maximum of two times. You must ensure
      that your request to defer, with a full explanation of your reason for the request, is
      presented in writing and reaches the INTO Admissions office in the UK at least four weeks
      before your course start date. This should also include details of your preferred new start
      date for the course. If your request arrives after this date, normal cancellation charges will
      apply (see the ‗Cancellations‘ section in the terms and conditions).

      All deferrals are subject to the availability of your chosen new course start date at the time
      we receive your request to defer.

      Please note that your accommodation will need to be re-booked and will be subject to
      availability.
      If your reason for deferral is due to visa refusal, and to avoid cancellation penalties, you
      must send us evidence of the visa refusal as early as possible and to arrive at the INTO

* Cover is only applicable during direct travel to and from your home country at the beginning and
end of each academic term or travel outside the UK if the trip is a required part of your study

Principal exclusions


General
      The first £50 of each and every claim per incident made by each insured person except
      for claims under personal liability, personal accident and legal expenses where no excess
      applies

We aim to provide a high level of service and pay claims fairly and promptly under the terms of
your Travel Insurance Policy. If you are unhappy with any aspect

Ombudsman will not affect your right to take legal action against us.

Financial Services Compensation Scheme
Both you and your insurer are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
You may be entitled to compensation if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the
type of business and the circumstances of the claim.

Insurance advising and arranging is covered 100% for the first £3000 and 90% of the remainder
of the claim, without any upper limit, except for compulsory insurance which is covered for 100%.
Further information about compensation scheme arrangements can be obtained from the FSCS.

INTO University Partnerships will hold monies, paid by you (such as new business or renewal
premiums) and owing to the insurer on the face of your certificate of insurance, as an agent for

What if I change my mind?
You can cancel your policy at any time. We will refund your premium less a charge for the time
you have been insured, provided you have not travelled or your policy has not been terminated
following a claim, in which case no refund will be due.

Cooling off period information
You are entitled to a 14-day cooling off period from the time you receive your policy documents.
Within this period you may cancel your policy without incurring an administration fee. We will
refund your premium less a charge for the period you have been insured, unless you have
travelled or a claim or incident likely to give rise to a claim has occurred, in which case no refund
will be due.

Outside the 14-day cooling off period this policy may be cancelled by returning your policy

We will return a proportionate refund of the premium you have paid in respect of the unexpired
term of this policy unless you have travelled or a claim or incident likely to give rise to a claim has

Certain situations require you to contact the emergency service provider and you should
remember to do this in the event you have to curtail your trip or if you are involved in a medical
