CHECKLIST FOR DC SUBMISSION - PEDESTRIAN OVERHEAD BRIDGE,

COVERED LINKWAY

1 General



The plans should comprise :

a) Key and location plans of scale 1 : 10,000 or 1

: 5,000 showing access to the site from the

street or road

b) Site plan (scale 1 : 500, 1 : 200 and 1 : 100)



c) Address, lot and/or plot number of the

development site and neighbouring lots

d) Location of the proposed pedestrian overhead

bridge/covered linkway

e) Cross section of proposed pedestrian

overhead bridge and troughs (scale 1 : 50 or

1: 100)

f) Cross section of proposed covered linkway

(scale 1 : 50 or 1: 100)



g) The registered architect will submit a

completed NParks submission form, sign all

layers of drawings digitally and enclose the

letter of authorization from the developer

2 Site plan should show :

a) Alignment of proposed overhead bridge, the

spans of the proposed planting troughs and

schematic engineering drawing (with

dimensions) of the pedestrian overhead bridge

and foundation.



b) Alignment of proposed covered linkway and

schematic engineering drawing (with

dimensions) of the covered linkway



c) Development boundary verged in red





d) Road reserve lines/width of existing/proposed

roads (verged in red)



e) Existing and proposed road sidetable levels.





f) Location and dimensions of carriageway,

roadside drain, existing/proposed roadside

planting verge (coloured green), service verge

(coloured green) and footpath.

bridge staircases are coloured green on plan.

l) Layout plan and cross sectional drawing

should show :

 Boundary line, road reserve line,

carriageway, roadside drain, tree planting

verge, service verge and footpath with

dimensions. Existing carriageway, roadside

drain, planting verge and footpath to be

demolished in yellow broken line.

 Details of footings and their clearance from

existing trees and roadside drain



 Roof dimension and their clearance from

existing trees

 Depth and types of existing/proposed

underground services

3 Existing Roadside Trees / Palms / Shrubs

3.1 Trees / palms /shrubs abutting the site

boundary and up to 10m on both sides of the

boundary are shown on plan with :

a) species

b) girth (tree / single stem palm) –

measured 1.0m from the ground

c) height (if available) and number of cluster

palm / shrub





3.2 Trees / single stem palms are uniquely

numbered and are consistent throughout the

project. No prefix is attached.

5 Lay-By For Water Tanker

5.1 A lay-by of 23m long and 3m wide is provided

for water tanker, unless there is a paved

shoulder. (A letter from Land Transport

Authority indicating no objection for the use of

paved shoulder is attached)

5.2 Location of the water tanker lay-by is within a

radius of 8m from the coupling point (at the

column of the bridge or housed in a pit) to the

mid- point of the lay-by.

1. All building activities and construction materials are to be confined within the project site and not

encroached onto the road sidetables.

2. Please apply to Streetscape Division of NParks regarding those roadside trees that require

pruning of tree branches / roots (girth more than 200mm) to accommodate construction

activities.
