Course Regulations
These Course Regulations form part of the terms and conditions of booking.
• We do not allow the drinking of alcohol on our residential sites or whilst a participant is in
attendance on any of our courses.
• In England it is illegal for under 18s to buy cigarettes. Smoking is not permitted on our
residential sites or whilst a participant is in attendance on any of our courses.
• The use of any illegal drug is strictly prohibited.
• All participants must attend all parts of our courses and associated activities (such as
excursions) unless otherwise agreed in advance of attendance.
• Damage to property and firefighting equipment will not be tolerated. Participants who are
found causing damage will be invoiced the cost of such damage and payment of such invoice
must be made prior to the end of the relevant course.
• Participants are not permitted to enter restricted areas. All of these areas will have clearly
visible signs.
• Participants are not allowed to leave our residential sites (or if off-site the direct supervision
of our staff) at any time without permission and must not leave their accommodation block
at night. Under no circumstances should participants leave our residential sites without staff
supervision.
• Rooms must be kept tidy to allow cleaners to vacuum and dust.
• At venues with a swimming pool participants must not enter the swimming pool area at any
time unless they have permission from our staff and a lifeguard is present.
• Participants must comply with any additional all rules and regulations that apply at any
location where our courses are provided or associated activities take place, and all
instructions of course leaders and other staff.
• Participants must not bully, behave in a way that may be a danger to others, or act in a
disruptive manner during any of our courses.
These Course Regulations will be enforced by all members of our staff.
If a participant fails to comply with these Course Regulations in whole or in part he or she may
be removed from the course under paragraph 7 of the terms and conditions of booking without
refund and without reimbursement of any travel, accommodation or other expenses incurred as
a result of that removal. While we will endeavour to address any breach of these Course
Regulations in a constructive way that does not lead to the removal of a participant from a
course, the safety and well-being of all participants is our priority and a participant may be
removed even if a breach of these Course Regulations is the first breach by that participant.
