English III
Brodsky
1920’s Project
Directions: As part of our study of the Great Gatsby, we will take a look at the decade of
the 1920’s. Because it is the time frame of the novel, we will examine the cultural and
political climate of the nation during this turbulent time.
In groups you will research one of the topics listed below to create a wiki page that
includes, explanations of each topic listed, various types of media (images or music) that
shows the readers about your topic and a 5 minute presentation to the class where you
tour your page. You will be graded on the content of your wiki as well as your
presentation. Be sure that the page your group creates is ACCURATE as well as
ATTRACTIVE.
How Do We Create a Wiki?:
1. Log into your school email account.
2. Check your e-mail and follow the sign up directions
3. Once you are logged in click on account (top right under your username) and
disable update information
4. Now you will have access to edit pages. Keep in mind that any questionable or
offensive content will be removed and that student will lose all credit.
