							    The Kingdom of
         God
“For I say to you, among those born of
women there is not a greater prophet
than John the Baptist; but he who is
least in the kingdom of God is greater
than he.”

                             (Luke 7:28)

and you rest with your fathers, I
will set up your seed after you, who will
come from your body, and I will establish his
kingdom. 13 He shall build a house for My
name, and I will establish the throne of his
kingdom forever.”

God’s words through Nathan to King David
Psalm 132:11
The LORD has sworn in truth
to David; He will not turn from it:
“I will set upon your throne the fruit of your
body.”

Now it shall come to pass in the
latter days That the mountain of the
LORD'S house Shall be established on the
top of the mountains, And shall be exalted
above the hills; And all nations shall flow to
it. 3 Many people shall come and say, "Come,
and let us go up to the mountain of the
LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; He
will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in
His paths." For out of Zion shall go forth the
law, And the word of the LORD from

(1:14-15), Now after John was put

preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the

kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and
believe in the gospel.”

(9:1), And He said to them, “Assuredly, I
say to you that there are some standing here
who will not taste death till they see the
kingdom of God present with power.”
Luke 24:45-48
  And He opened their under-
standing, that they might compre-
hend the Scriptures. 46 Then He said to
them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was
necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise
from the dead the third day, 47 and that
repentance and remission of sins should be
preached in His name to all nations,
beginning at Jerusalem. 48 And you are
witnesses of these things.”

14 in whom we have redemption through His

blood, the forgiveness of sins.
Revelation 1:9
I, John, both your brother and
companion in the tribulation and
kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was
on the island that is called Patmos for the
word of God and for the testimony of Jesus
Christ.
        Conclusion
To be in the “kingdom of God” one
must obey the gospel of the King. You
have the opportunity to be “greater” than
John the Baptist.

Will you become a citizen of
         God’s kingdom?
