The Farmville Buildings Guide – What You Need to Know

If you’ve started playing facebook’s hit game, Farmville, then there’s a good chance

plenty of people have told you to avoid buildings until you’re ready to level up. That’s

good advice, and if you’re just starting out, making money is far more important than

building!

However, at some point, you’re going to want to add a few structures to your farm,

and in the interests of making that a little simpler, I’ve created a Farmville buildings

guide that covers the basics in this article, so read on, and find out more with my

beginner’s Farmville buildings guide.

Decorative Buildings

The very first golden rule in my mini Farmville buildings guide is to avoid decorative

buildings until you have lots of money to waste! Decorative buildings, as the name

suggests, have no function other than to look pretty, and all they do is take up space,

and cost you money. Sure, it’s cool to have a spooky Black Manor, or an Asian style

Pagoda, but since they add no value, they’re no good when you’re starting out. Save

them for later on, when your farm is producing a lot, and you can afford the coins, and

the space, they require.

Animal Buildings

In this Farmville buildings guide, we look at two types of functional building, and

animal buildings are the first type. These are buildings like the Dairy Barn, the first

Farmville building. While it also costs you money to erect, and takes up space, it

allows you to milk 20 cows in one go. That means that unlike decorative buildings, it

has a function.

The Chicken Coop is another of the functional animal buildings that you might want

to acquire. As the name suggests, this building allows you to keep your chickens safe,

and it also allows you to potentially harvest Mystery Eggs, and special chickens and

other special items. The more unique chickens you have in your coop, the higher the

chance that you’ll get special eggs and chicks.

Storage Buildings

The next item in our mini Farmville buildings guide are storage buildings. These, like

the Barn, Toolshed and Garden Shed, can be used to store implements and tools, or in

the case of the Garden Shed, bunches of flowers. These make cool gifts to your

Farmville friends!

I hope that this mini Farmville buildings guide has helped to make some sense out of

when to buy the various buildings that are available, and what they can do for you – if

anything. Like everything in the game of Farmville, everything has a purpose and a

benefit or a disadvantage, and the type of building that you place on your lot is no

different.

If this mini Farmville building guide was helpful, then it may be wise to look into the

much more extensive and in depth guides out there, like the Farmville Secrets guide,

which is one of the best.
