PLAY
It’s abut having fun, enjoying yourself,
being spontaneous and creative. Life is
too short to spend it frowning, and
FISH brings a smile to your face.
Make Their Day!
It’s about doing something special for your
customers and co-workers. When you make
someone’s day, you have given them a
special gift they won’t soon forget. It feels
good to give it.
React to each person as an individual. Ask
yourself, “What would make this person’s
day? What would bring a smile to their face?
What can I do?
Be There!
It’s about being totally focused on the
moment and on the person or task with
which you are engaged. When we are fully
present with our customers and with each
other, we listen deeply and important
opportunities do not escape us.
Listen to a co-worker, family member, or
friend. Don’t just wait your “turn to talk.
Simply listen. Put aside any agenda or
opinions for a moment and concentrate on
what that person is saying.
Choose Your Attitude!
It’s the last point of FISH! And, in a sense it’s
the bedrock underneath the first three. It’s
about accepting full responsibility for our
choices, even our attitude at work. A
positive attitude is a decision we make,
moment to moment.
Questions for consideration
Are you going to physically be at work and just go
through the motions?
Are you going to truly be there?
Are you going to get through the day with as little effort
as possible?
Are you going to make it fun for yourself and everyone
Small Group Discussion

she couldn’t throw hair what was she
