You are receiving this memo as a listing agent at Mount Vernon Plantation.
THE GATE CODE WAS CHANGED AS OF MONDAY, JANUARY 30.
PLEASE CONTACT CMA FOR THE NEW CODE.
The entrance gate is programmed to be open on Saturday’s and Sunday’s from noon until
5:00 pm to accommodate Open Houses. During those times, you can put out signs,
balloons, etc. at the unit. Signs are not allowed at other times, and the gates are
closed. Please put the gate code in your private comments in the multiple listing service.
You can post your listing on our website, www.mountvernonplantation.com. The Board
updates a flyer every week with all of the listings. These flyers are in a “Free
Information” flyer box just inside the gate.
Our management company is Community Management Associates (CMA), and our
manager is Tracy Lanard at 404-352-5470, ext. 13. Tracy can help you with any
questions and provide information required for a closing.
We recently completed phase one of our landscape project, which includes a beautiful
park area down by the pond/fountain, a park and nature trail on the south side of the
property, and a lovely park with benches in the sunken area between the pool and the
entrance.
Our next project is replacing all of the siding and shutters with a new updated color
scheme, replacing railings and trim where needed – a total exterior “facelift”! We plan
to begin this project in the Spring of 2006.
We believe that our complex is a unique in its charm and beautiful mature landscaping.
And of course, our location with shopping and MARTA within walking distance is hard
to beat! In addition, Mount Vernon Plantation is a part of the new City of Sandy
Springs!
By the way, no new leases or investor purchases for rental units are being allowed at
this time. No unit can be leased without a leasing permit from the HOA.
