Re: Addendum No. 1
Bidder must acknowledge receipt of this Addendum on the Form of Proposal
section in the space provided.
This addendum is issued for the purpose of amending certain requirements of
the Contract Documents, as noted hereinafter, and is hereby made part of and
incorporated in full force as part of the Contract Documents. Unless specifically
noted or specified hereinafter, all work shall comply with the applicable provisions
of the Contract Documents.

ADDENDUM NO. 1 ITEMS
ASHLEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Item No. 1: Boiler Room Floor Plan
A. Panel “AES-PP” - Relocate to back wall.
Item No. 2: Main Building Floor Plan
A. Room MC01
1. Panel “AES-CP4” - Relocate to opposite wall.
2. Change the two 20A.125V. quad receptacles to two single locking
20A.250V. receptacles, Hubbell Cat. No. HBL2320. Mount
receptacles on cable tray. Change circuitry to CP4-1,3 and CP4-5,7.
Item No. 3: Building 200
A. Room TC03
(1) From new ground bus bar, extend #4G-3/4” to existing Panel “SDP”
ground bus.
(2) Change duplex quad receptacles to single locking type
20A.250V.,3W. receptacle, Hubbell Cat. No. HBL2320, mounted on
the wall. Change circuitry to 2CP1-19,21.
Item No. 4: Building 300
A. Room TC04
(1) From new ground bus bar, extend #4G-3/4” to existing Panel “PA”
ground bus.
(2) Change duplex quad receptacles to single locking type
20A.250V.,3W. receptacle, Hubbell Cat. No. HBL2320, mounted on the
wall. Change circuitry to 3CP1-16,18.
(3) Panel “AES-3CP1”:
(a) Primary feeder from Panel “PA” to 15 kVA transformer shall
be 3#6,#10G-1”.
(b) Secondary feeder to Panel “AES-3CP1” shall be 3#6,#3N,
#8G-1”.
Item No. 5: A. For all new panelboards, provide 200% neutral bus bar in each panel.
B. Panel “AES-CP4: Single pole circuits nos. 1,3,5 and 7 shall be
changed to 2P.20A,(1,3 and 5,7 ).
C. Panel “AES-2CP1” - Single poles breakers 19,21 shall be replaced with
2P.20A. breaker.
D. Panel “AES-3CP1” - Change single pole breakers nos. 16 and 18 to a
2P.20A. breaker.
Item No. 6: On the H. T. plastic raceways, provide matching coverplates for the duplex
receptacles and stainless steel coverplates for the single printer devices.
Item No. 7: Where a “delta 2-5” is indicated on the Drawings, the only power required is
to the computers and printer, a total of 2 circuits per location.
Item No. 8: General Questions
A .Question: “Panels 2CP1 and 3CP1 are fed from 15 KVA transformers. A
15KVA outputs 42 amps. Should the main on the panels be a 60 amp main and
should it have a 200% neutral?”
Answer: Main breaker for each panel shall be 50A3P. Each panel shall have
200% neutral.
B. Question: Panels CP3 and CP1 are fed from Panel AES-PP with a 200 amp
breaker with 3/0 wire. Should the mains for both these panels be 200 amps not
225 and 150.
Answer: Main breaker for Panel CP1 should be reduced to 175A3P; for Panel
CP3, 150A3P. Mains for each panel may match rating of main breaker.
PETREE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Item No. 1: Drawing PEE-1
A. Storage Room - New Panel “PEE-CA” shall be relocated to exterior
wall.
Item No. 2: Drawing PEE-2
A. Electrical Room - Relocate existing feeder to existing Panel “PP1-2.
B. Room MC1 -
(1) Change two 1P.20A.125V. quad receptacles to two single
locking 20A.250V. receptacles, Hubbell Cat. No. HBL2320.
Mount receptacles on cable tray. Change circuitry to CD-1,3
and CD-5,7.
(2) Add new Panel “PES-CD”, 120/208 v. 3-phase, 4-wire, surface
mounted, 60A3P main breaker, 200% neutral, 12 circuit, 8-
20A1P, 2-20A2P. Feed from new Panel “PES-CC”. Provide
60A2P breaker. Feeder circuit shall be 3#6, #3N, #8G-1”.
Install above ceiling and provide two pull boxes.
C. New Panelboards: Provide 200% neutral bus for each panel.
D. Central Electrical Room – Partial Power Riser
Delete new TVSS and associated wiring and breaker.
ITEM NUMBER 3 GENERAL
A. It will be this contractors responsibility to repair any broken raceway
Disturbed during the installation of the new wiring. Assume that all heads
will be locked firmly in place.
B. All Boards will have been moved prior to this contractor coming to
site.
C. Assume that all HellermanTyton electrical boxes and enclosures will
be included in this contract and not furnished or installed prior to this
contractor arriving on site.
