Your Task
Part 1
As a local reporter you have been asked to write the front page article for the
“Fleetwood News Millennium Special 1900”.
You need to write about the growth and changes in Fleetwood from the 1830’s up to 1899.
You must refer to the 3 famous people (Peter Hesketh, Decimus Burton and Frederick
Kemp) who were involved in the development of Fleetwood.
You could also include evidence from local witnesses, famous buildings and landmarks and
the development of local industry and work places.
What you should include
