Upgrading Section-6 Pictures of a Sector-nn
1. On the web, in the miscellaneous folder, create folders named config_1,
config_2….config_11, and sector_36, sector_37…….sector_40. For each of
these folders, create a subfolder named “small”. The folders will have large
size pictures and the subfolders will have thumbnails with identical names.
2. If necessary upgrade the pictures in the config/sector folder that the Sector-
nn belongs to. Do not forget to upgrade the thumbnails in the “small”
subfolder.
3. Open the config/sector folder in a window (window-1). It will have 10 jpeg
pictures and a “small” subfolder. Click on the “small” subfolder. It will have
10 jpeg picture files.
4. In a separate window (window-2), open the web folder
www.aps.anl.gov/asd/me/SR03/sectornn
(Note that U:\1_www-me = www.aps.anl.gov/asd/me)
5. Select all picture files in the “small” subfolder and paste them in the web’s
“../SR03/sectornn” folder.
6. Now open the web folder (window-2)
www.aps.anl.gov/asd/me/SR03/large/sectornn
7. Go back to config/sector folder (window-1)and select all picture ( an easy way
to select is to select the “small” folder, and then invert the selection), copy the
picture files, and paste them in the web’s sectornn folder (window-2):
