 Create better sentences from the following

sentences.

1.There is a skate shop in Inglewood. The skate shop is located

on Arbor Vitae.

2. The school prays at the beginning of class. The school says

the Pledge of Alliance.

3. Terrence went to play football. He scored a touch down.

Change the order of the following sentences to make

them correct.

4.Into the pool dived the two girls

5. You did find my hat where?

6. Iron the dress did you?

7. At our parties we usually dance.

Collage Class Project

 Create a Grammar Board using pictures and words

cut out from various magazines.

 1. Find common and proper nouns, verbs and

adjectives that describe the picture from various

magazines.

 2. Cut out photos and words from magazines.

 3. Students can cut out words or letters.

 4. Be creative and use as many nouns: common or

proper, verbs and adjectives as possible.

 This is an individual project due at the end of class.

 Students must write out each of the

sentences (1-40) on a separate sheet of

paper with the correct capitalization.

 This sheet is due to Mr. McDorman at

the end of class.
