Music Newsletter Term 3 2009
Welcome back to Term 3. I hope that the holidays have been a time to recover from all the
viruses circulating.
This term is ten weeks long. The main recitals will be held on September 13 – the end of week 8.
Last term's concerts (some photos on the website) were a good preparation for these recitals with
students performing well and practising their bows. This term all students will be learning their
recital pieces and some will have a group piece as well. Consistent practice from week 1 is the
way to ensure a reliable, confident performance. Please note the concert date and let me know of
any clashes, which may occur. This helps with my organising of group pieces.
