P & C News:
We have some wonderful ideas for end of year photos of your children. These include
a calendar, scrapbooking page with classmates and whole school photos. If you DO
NOT want your child’s photo to appear in any group photos or to be taken for any of
the listed plans, please inform the school.
Members of the P & C have recently been asked about actions being taken with regards
to the allocation of Teachers Aides Special at Havenlee. To avoid any confusion,
concern or questions, the P & C would like to inform families that we are not involved
in any further action relating to the allocation of staff at the school. We were informed
at a P & C meeting that the current number of staff will be remaining the same and the
P & C feels any further action unnecessary at this time.
Our Get Move Athon will be occurring this term. We will be sending
home sponsorship forms for everyone to help raise funds for our school
parent involvement is going to be most welcome!
The hazard reduction was a success thanks to Alan Jones, Alan Clarke, the Rotary of
South Nowra and Rural Fire Service. Joe Yatras and Shane constable kindly cooked the
barbecue to feed everyone.
The next meeting will be held on 26 July 2005 at 7pm. Life without Barriers and Focus
will be joining us to outline their services and process involved to access. If you are
able to attend you are most welcome.
