SSRWSI Watershed Field Days and Well Decommissioning Workshops
Gull Lake Watershed Field Day

Rob is a Senior Hydrogeological Technologist, with the Groundwater Management Branch of the Saskatchewan Watershed Authority. Rob provided technical expertise and directed well decommissioning operations at all three Watershed Field Days hosted by the South Saskatchewan River Watershed Stewards in 2008.
Loreburn Watershed Field Day
At left, Krista Connick, Agrologist with the Stewardship Division of the Saskatchewan Watershed Authority, lends a hand with the bentonite while Rob Walcer gives direction to the backhoe operator. The Well Decommissioning Workshop in the RM of Loreburn took place on October 30th 2008 on Michelle and Andy Hauberg’s property where they had a large diameter, bored well with a cement casing, to decommission.
