August 31st from noon to 3pm all players will play for the
senior rate of $26.00. Must bring a printed copy of this
newsletter for discount. This discount is available at both
Sylvan Glen and Sanctuary Lake.

Join the Golf Rewards Program
The new rewards program allows customers to accumulate points with
each dollar spent at the golf course. Each dollar spent on greens fees,
range balls and merchandise will accrue one reward point. The award

There is no sign up fee and all you need is your driver’s license to get

Practice Facility at Sanctuary Lake Golf Course
• The practice facility at Sanctuary Lake boasts 70 hitting
stations. In addition to the range, there are two practice
greens. The practice facility is also home to the Sanctuary
Lake Golf Academy, directed by PGA Professional Paul Toski.
Paul offers private and semi-private lessons and can be
reached directly at 248-619-7668. Yearly memberships are
available for individuals and families. Please contact the golf
shop@ 248.619.7671 for more details. Practice facility hours
of operation are Monday-Friday 7am-8:30pm. Saturday and
Sunday 6:30am-8:30pm.
Piper’s Pub at Sanctuary Lake Golf Course
Join us at Pipers Pub for the 2009 golf season. Good Food! Good
Drink! And Good Times. Burgers, Fries, and Beer $4.99 from 11:30
to 1:30pm daily along with every day beer specials. Pipers Scottish
Open 18 Holes of golf, Saturday October 3, 2009. Sign up for great
prizes, food, and a good time. Sign up available at Pipers Pub.
We will be running several specials throughout the season and will
keep you informed via this newsletter and on your next visit to the
course. The golf course and the Pub will be partnering up and
running a few golf and dine events for your enjoyment!! Please

Online Tee Time Reservations
New for last season was the online tee time reservation
system available for both Sanctuary Lake and Sylvan Glen golf
courses. This is a great way to secure your next tee time without
calling in during regular business hours. You can access this quick
and easy system any time for your convenience.
2009 City of Troy Golf Course Event Schedule

JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP

Played at Sylvan Glen the entry fee is $30.00 for the 9-Hole Division or $35.00 for the 18-Hole
Division. Entry fee includes: greens fees, trophies, hotdog, chips & soda. 18-Hole Division is for
14 to 17 year olds and will be broken into a male and female division. 9-Hole Division is for 10
to 13 year olds and will be broken into a male and female division. Entry deadline is Saturday
August 15, 2009.
