                                                          Friday, October 1st
 9:00AM - Shacharit & Hallel                                          12:30PM
                                                                      All children will gather for a special Aliya to the Torah under a
 10:00AM- Hakafot - Singing & Dancing with the Torah                  Chuppah

 11:45AM                                                              Reading of the Chatan Torah & Chatan Bereshit (The final &

October 4 - Tanach B’Shnataim Opening Session – Over 45 people have registered, but there is still limited space left in this new
course that everyone is talking about. Registrations must be in by September 27 to guarantee space.

October 7 - Baron Hirsch Day at YoLo Frozen Yogurt, 559 Erin Drive. Baron Hirsch will get 10% of all sales all day (11:30AM –
10:00PM). Stop in, and tell you family, friends and co-workers. All frozen yogurt and many toppings are certified Kosher by the Vaad
of Memphis.

October 8 - Tot Kabbalat Shabbat with Yael Elstein – Parents and children come together to welcome Shabbat in a special way. Come
join the fun! 5:30PM – 6:15PM.

October 10 - Community-wide Men’s Club Event at Temple Israel featuring Michael Heisley and Corky’s BBQ. All food is prepared at
Baron Hirsch under the supervision of the Vaad of Memphis. $25 per person, reserve online at www.timemphis.org or call 761-3130.
Event sponsorships for tables of 10 available for $350.

October 15 – 16 - Scholar-in-Residence Weekend with Rabbi Ronen & Pnina Neuwirth from Tzohar.

October 24 - Young Families Campfire at the Botanic Garden, 6:00PM – 8:00PM. Bring your own picnic dinner, outside activities begin
at 6:30PM. Roast S’mores over the fire. $6 per person, under age 2 is free. RSVP to the office.

November 7 - Café Simcha featuring Master Chef Jose Gutierrez. A well respected and well known, Chef Gutierrez is the chef of the
River Oaks Restaurant, and was formerly the chef of Chez Phillipe at The Peabody for 22 years.

Sukkah Movie Theater, Saturday night, September 25th at 9:15PM. All youth (8th graders and up) are invited. Held at the Goldbergs’
(5514 Laurie Lane) We will be watching the Israeli film - “Ushpizin”.

Hosha’ana Raba Night, Tuesday, September 28th, 9PM-11PM. Learning and songs in the sukkah. Held at the Goldbergs’. All are
invited.
