Hello everyone,
This is an instruction how to upload files to me computer.
1) go to the following address http://jaja.kn.vutbr.cz/~hladik/howto/ Download and run
WINCMD32.EXE
2) from the main menu select commands/ftp new connection or CTRL+N
3) the following screen will appear. Put there an address a05-0632b.kn.vutbr.cz and
unpick the anonymous connection and then press OK
4) then put User name which is: pictures
5) and password which is: birmingham (small letters)
6) If everything will go well you will see directories with your names. Which are pictures
I have already downloaded from your cameras. (you can download it)
7) The server will run probably on Mo, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun. The rest of the week I’m
away with my laptop and I have different address.
8) And there is a directory UPLOAD where you can create new directory by pressing the
F7 key. This will help me to sort pictures. If you won’t create that directory, don’t
worry I will sort it anyway.
9) After creating that directory, look inside it and start copying your files or directories to
me by selecting the files/directories by right mouse or shift and arrow key and than
press F5. Drag and drop will work as well. Then press OK and the files should start
uploading to me. (picture on the page number 2)
10) Start praying to transfer all files without error . If some error will occur (connection
lost and so on) repeat the steps….or ask me.
