Some of the most special Torah Honors of the year take place on Simchat Torah, and donations received in honor of the recipients
benefit the Baron Hirsch Youth Fund. Already this year, we have begun a number of new youth programs, including Tot Shabbat,
Kesher Konnections and Shoa & Tekuma. More new programs are on the way, including a new Shabbat afternoon program, and
we are regularly working on expanding our Shabbat morning program, Camp Darom, and other projects. Everyone is urged to
contribute to our Simchat Torah Youth Appeal. Whether it is in honoring one of our Chatan recipients, or in taking part in our sale of
Ata Horaisa, your participation is appreciated and will assist us in bringing our youth department to new heights.

Please speak to David Cooper or David Fleischhacker to inquire as to how you can participate.

A Message from our President, David Cooper

I trust everyone has enjoyed a wonderful Sukkot. This has been a very busy holiday for our shul- with something going on virtually
every day. Over 80 children participated in our Sukkah hop and treasure hunt this past Shabbat afternoon, and thank you to Elaine
and Fred Miner for once again sponsoring these events. Over 220 people attended our Family Sukkah dinner Monday evening, and
there was delicious food, great music and lots of fun filled activities for our children. Later that evening, our Jewish History Book Club
met in the Sukkah of Drs. Ellen and Ellis Tavin.

On Tuesday, over 40 women enjoyed our sisterhood’s Salad in the Sukkah program and luncheon, and in the afternoon, 110 kids
participated in our annual Chol Hamoed Family Fun Day at Putt Putt Golf and Games, and every one had a great time. Thank you to
Bracha and Frank Udelsohn for once again sponsoring this event. On Friday, we have over 250 reservations for our annual Simchat
Torah luncheon, and thank you to Sue Ann and Bernard Lipsey for once again sponsoring this luncheon.

In addition, we have had 2 very crowded minyanim each morning of Chol Hamoed. We will have delicious candy bags for all of our
children on Simchat Torah night, and thank you to Suzanne & Scott Baum and Teri & Larry Graber for once again sponsoring these
bags, and we will have a wonderful new Women’s Simchat Torah learning presentation on Simchat Torah morning led By Yael Elstein,
and thank you to the Fleischhacker family for sponsoring this event. And then, this coming Monday night, October 4th, we jump
right into the New Year post Holidays beginning our Tanach B’shnataim 2 year learning program, and we have over 70 participants
registered.

In short, we have A LOT going on at shul, and thank you to our dedicated Clergy and Staff all of the many volunteers, donors,
musicians, cooks and of course, participants, who have made these programs so successful. Together, we have all combined to
create such a beautiful Chag for all of us, and that should not go unnoticed! Wishing everyone a joyous Yom Tov and Chag Sameach
to all.
