lobby, fully-equipped theater, flexible reception

Center ideal for hosting anything from a corporate meeting to a theater

performance to a wedding. Painted Bride Art Center is conveniently located in

the heart of Old City, near public transportation and parking, in Philadelphia's

Interested in producing a show or a reading? Whether public or private, our Open

Door Program offers a unique professional collaboration between self-producing

groups and the Painted Bride. Rent the Theater to enjoy added promotional

opportunities and the chance to reach a wider audience for your performances.



Getting married? What better place than at Painted Bride Art Center! Make our

space yours by configuring it in any number of ways, whether you’re planning a

seated dinner for 50-150, or a buffet reception for up to 250. Have a DJ or a

wedding band or both! You and your guests will dance all night long on the

Painted Bride’s dramatic, theatrical stage. And with no required caterer, Painted

Bride offers the most flexibility when it comes to designing your special day.

Straightforward and inclusive, pricing is determined by the needs for your custom

event. With daily and weekly rates, renting the Painted Bride Art Center gives

you access to all of the following:

 Well-lit Patio Entrance

 Lobby & Box Office area (18' x 40')

 Bi-level Gallery (18' x 65')

 Reception Room/Cafe (26' x 36') with built-in counter top, electrical

outlets, wet sink and refrigerator

 Accessible Black Box Theater (65' x 75') with a stage (28' deep x 56' wide)

and newly up-graded seating, seats 204-250

 Comfortable dressing room with designated full bathroom

Your theater rental includes a full compliment of lighting and staging equipment.

One of Philadelphia's best sound systems and a host of audiovisual equipment

are also at your disposal. The Rental Flat fee covers the use of the space,

equipment, professional services, and staffing.

 Rebuilt six-foot Steinway grand piano ($200 additional charge per

performance)

 Video Projector and Screen for a whole-theater presentation

 Podium and full compliment of microphones, music stands, stage risers

 Professional sound and light technician to work closely with you to realize

your vision

 Fully computerized and staffed box office and fulfillment services ($500

per performance run)
