1. Quality Clinical Performance Reviews were conducted on all IDMT visits, there were no reportable
discrepancies.
3. Training issues
a. IDMT’s are 100% current on all quarterly training requirements.
b. Animal lab was conducted on 29 Jan 08. This training provided excellent real-world experience/exposure to
critical skills. In the future we will incorporate Sim-Center as well as animal lab training to enhance experience.
c. The annual refresher course will be held 21-25 April 2008.
d. We are currently experiencing some difficulty with obtaining quarterly training requirements due to lack of 5 & 7
level technicians in the clinics requiring IDMT’s to spend additional time in the clinics. Also, I’m having
difficulty with quarterly and initial orientation training with Bio-Environmental Engineering because of conflict
with strict state requirements for water testing and in some part due to lack of cooperation from the BEE
personnel. This issue is being addressed and will be elevated if need be.
