Hospice of the Piedmont Invites Community to Dessert and Discussion
(High Point, NC) – Adults in the community who have experienced the death of a loved one
are invited to a Dessert and Discussion on Tuesday, Jan. 22 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Hospice
of the Piedmont conference room.

Sharing thoughts and feelings with others in a safe, confidential setting can be a powerful
way to begin healing after a loss. During Dessert and Discussion, individuals and families
will be invited to share how they handled the holidays and discuss challenges of the grief
journey.

The one-session event is for adults 18 and older and will be led by Hospice grief counselor,
Jan Hoffmann, LCSW. “Anyone in our community who has experienced the death of a
loved one in the past two years is welcome. Come to gain understanding about the grief
journey and feel supported.” says Hoffmann.

Dessert and Discussion is offered free of charge as a community service. Refreshments will
be served. The event will be held at the Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive in
High Point.

Please call Hospice of the Piedmont at 889.8446 to register; space is limited.

Hospice of the Piedmont is a not-for-profit organization providing medical, emotional,
