About This Document: At each regional event dancers have the chance to win scholarships to the Perry-Mansfield Young Arts Summer Program, the Rockette Experience, the NYCDA Summer Intensive and classes at NYC's Steps on Broadway, Peridance and Broadway Dance Center, as well as EDGE Performing Arts Center in L.A. In 2010, the NYC Dance Alliance Foundation began producing a number of its own dance events, kicking off at The Joyce Theater in NYC and with a spectacular gala fundraiser in the summer of 2011 The shows provide performance opportunities for NYCDA faculty and dancers and serve as fundraising events as the NYCDAF continues to raise money for college scholarships for dancers.
