Healing Service: Finding Healing Grace in the Wilderness
“Therefore let him who thinks he stands be careful that he doesn’t fall. No temptation has taken
you except what is common to all human beings. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be
tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that
you may be able to endure it.” --1 Corinthians 10:12-13
We all face temptation in the unique and personal “wilderness” journeys of our lives. Whether
we are lured by material possessions, struggle with addictions, or are simply tempted to give up
our faith in God, we can find a healing process for where we are broken by turning back to Him.
Are you facing temptations that need God’s healing grace? Do you wish to feel God’s tender
mercy and compassion surround and strengthen you? Do you long for a quiet retreat from all of
life’s demands--an oasis of peace from the temptations of daily life?
Join us for prayer, meditation, quiet music and Holy Communion at our monthly Healing Service
in the chapel on Thursday evening, March 11, 2010 at 7PM in the chapel. Find healing grace in
the wilderness.
