Mercury

I am the planet Mercury, the
smallest planet in the solar
system. Also, I am one of the four
inner planets.
I wonder why I lack an
atmosphere and organisms
cant live on me.
I see the sun blinding me, I am the
closest planet to the sun.
I want to have a less density, I
am 5.44 g/m3.
I feel the asteroids and meteorites
hitting my surface, and making
craters.
I pretend I am in a cooler place
during the day, during the day I
am 800 degrees Fahrenheit. At
night, I pretend I am in a cooler
place. At night I am -280*F.
I touch my liquid core, made of
nickel and iron.
I hear the humans on
Earth talking, from a
distance.
I hope to be around longer,
since I have existed for 4.5
billion years.
I dream that someday the elliptical
shape of my orbit will change. I
would it rather to be a true circle
but the gravitational pull makes it a
elliptical shape.
