If your child shows the symptoms of the flu keep them home from school until 24 hours after their temperature is normal without
medications. Your child may attend school with “mild” cold symptoms, but usually should stay home when the symptoms interfere with
“being a student” (coughing, tiredness, runny nose).
Remember- prevention is the best defense. Get a flu shot and practice good hand washing!

From the Library,
Roses are red, violets are cool, Boxtops earn cash, when you bring them to
school. My attempt at poetry is just a reminder to keep collecting Boxtops
and sending them with your child to school. Since our enrollment in the
Boxtops 4 Education program, CFT has earned over $16000. It has taken
about 10 years to earn that figure, but we have steadily increased our goal
each year. In January, Mrs. Esterline's class had banana splits to celebrate
bringing in the most Boxtops for that month. Mrs. Schmidtmann's class
has won the coveted silver trophy to display in their room for the most
Boxtops collected since the beginning of this school year. Currently,
February's contest will have heart cookies for a reward.
We have just purchased heavy duty headphones for use in the computer Yearbook Presale
lab and we have ordered the 2008 award winning books for the library, as Order your yearbook now. You may pick up a form in the
