Transit Fare Increases
Cedar Rapids Transit will implement fare increases for the fixed-route city bus service
on Monday, August 24, 2009. The fare increases were included as part of the City’s
FY10 budget. The adult cash fare will increase from $1.00 to $1.25; student cash fares
will remain at $1.00; and the elderly or disabled cash fares will remain at 50¢. 31 Day
and 10 Ride Passes will be raised for all passenger categories as shown below. Day
Passes will remain $3.00.
